Rentals

If you choose to rent a kayak or paddleboard from Malpeque Bay Kayak Tours you can explore the area on your own but due to the currents in the area it is strongly suggested that only experienced guests explore Malpeque Bay or the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Darnley Basin is available to those who may have limited experience as it is a protected basin with one way in and one way out. Inside the basin you will have a chance to paddle by oyster cages, see migratory birds and be surrounded by the red cliffs and sandy shores Prince Edward Island has become famous for.

Bicycles are also available for rent and are great for exploring the areas back roads and campgrounds but they are not meant to be used for long distance travel. We will be updating our bicycle fleet in the future but if you need suggestions for other options feel free to give us a call and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Safety equipment, information about the area and a brief lesson will be provided for every rental.
